Our recruitment intake window has closed for 2022. The next opportunity to join 248 ACU will be in Term 1 2023.
In the meantime, you can still submit an “Expression of Interest” using the Apply Now button, and you’ll be placed onto our waiting list with a start date of next year. Once you receive confirmation from us, please be assured that your position in the queue is secured.
Open Day, Term 1 2023
248 ACU will be holding an on-site Open Day at 10am, Saturday 18 February 2023 (gate entry from 9:45am).
Pre-registration for Open Day, Term 1 2023
Please be advised that entry to Victoria Barracks, Sydney is subject to certain conditions and security procedures. We will collect personal information to identify you as a visitor before you enter the base. To save time, we recommend you pre-register your details before the event.
Location for Open Day, Term 1 2023
Our open day will be held on-site at Victoria Barracks, Sydney.
Pedestrian entry via Oxford St gate, opp corner Shadforth St and Oxford St (inside parking not available - please park locally on the street). One of our friendly guides will be present to escort you from the gate to the building.

Key Dates for new cadet recruits in Term 1 2023
Following the open day, prospective recruits have approximately two weeks to finalise their enrolments.
Those who already pre-enrolled during 2022 will already have been activated in the system - if you have corresponded with us, and received your cadets Welcome Email, there is no further qction required.
The first day for Term 1 2023 new cadet recruits will be Tuesday 7 March 2023. In the meantime, you can submit an expression of interest or look at the frequently asked questions.
