Are you a high school student? Start your journey in Cadets! To join 248 Army Cadet Unit, you need to be:
- 13-16 years old, or turning 13 in the year that you join
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

About the application process
When you apply, you will initially submit an “Expression of Interest”. Based on our readiness to accept you as a new cadet recruit, you will asked to proceed and submit your documents. In some circumstances, we may need to place you on the waiting list. Don’t worry, we’ll keep in contact and let you know when you can expect to join.
Transferring to 248 ACU
